Its been a long and arduous offseason football fans, from the plethora of injuries to the whole deflategate controversy. Breathe a sigh of relief, because the regular season is just hours away! I thought I’d make some quick regular season predictions before the season officially begins. So without further ado here they are:

NFC East Champion: Dallas Cowboys

This in my opinion is one of the more difficult decisions I had picking as both the Cowboys and Eagles are very good teams. In the end though I just couldn’t pick against Dallas with the talent of that oline, the improved pass rush, and that they have Tony Romo tossing the pigskin.

NFC South Champion: New Orleans Saints

The NFC South was collectively the worst division in all of football last season, the eventual winner entered the postseason with a record below .500. I think the division takes a step forward this season with the improvements some of these clubs made in the offseason. I really like what New Orleans is gonna do on offense this season. Yes, they lost Kenny Still and Jimmy Graham but they got some great talent in the skill postions between Brandin Cooks and CJ Spiller.

NFC North Champion: Green Bay Packers

Who else is going to win the division? The Green Bay Packers have arguably the best player in the game and were a play away from going to the Super Bowl last season. It is going to be tough without Jordy Nelson, but I’m sure they’ll coup fine.

NFC West Champion: Seattle Seahawks

The hardest environment to play in plus the best defense and a power run game? I do see St. Louis and Arizona also  being pretty good teams but Seattle is still the class of this division. Plus they got one of the best wide receivers tight ends in football.

NFC Wildcards: Arizona Cardinals, Detroit Lions

AFC East Champion: Buffalo Bills

Surprise, surprise. The Bills’ defense is scary and will continue to get scarier under Rex Ryan. Today they signed one of the top young defensive player’s in football in Marcell Dareus to a huge extension. People say they’ve got quarterback issues, but I like what I see in Tyrod Taylor. Plus it’s hard not to like what they’ve got going with their offensive skill posiyions.

AFC South Champion: Indianapolis Colts

This is not even close at all. Houston has quarterback issues and both Tennessee and Jacksonville are years away from competing. I like Luck a lot as an MVP Candidate this season.

AFC North Champion: Cincinnati Bengals

We’re on to Cinci-…what? The Steeler’s defense is absolutely pathetic and I expect it to get lit up this season. The Ravens current situation at receiver also isn’t very ideal and the Brown’s are just downright dysfunctional. With the best overall roster in the division I see them taking the North .

AFC West Champion: Denver Broncos

Isn’t Peyton Manning too old? Well maybe, but the Bronco’s are still the class of the division and with Gary Kubiak I expect to them have a prolific offense. Denver’s defense? Maybe the best outside linebacking duo in football with some very good corners. Denver’s defense is legit and should be top 3 this year.

AFC Wildcards: New England Patriots, Kansas City Chiefs

NFC Title Game: Dallas Cowboys over Green Bay Packers

AFC Title Game: Denver Broncos over Indianapolis Colts

Super Bowl: Denver Broncos over Dallas Cowboys
